FIELD APPLICATION SCIENTIST (LOCATION: SHANGHAI OR BEIJING) |
POSITION DESCRIPTION
•Coordinating new installations with FSE, reviews and approves operational quality of equipment, and instructs customers in operations and maintenance of system under general instruction.
•Troubleshooting issues related to user's technical skills, biochemistry/assay design, experimental design, software and instruments. Interprets customer needs and identifies if the responsibility for a problem resolution falls to sales personnel, engineering, or other company personnel.
•Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent communication and by maintaining a high level of technical and application competence of ProteinSimple products
•Helping to maintain and increase product usage, and supporting routine sales efforts through technical presentations and demonstrations.
•Providing strategic and competitive customer feedback to marketing and product development teams.
•Developing key company processes that support our mission of building a world-class customer support organization.
•Other projects or tasks assigned by line manager
•Conduct business in full compliance to behavior in business and in competition
QUALIFICATIONS
•Preferably with field application support experience with good track record for working in a MNC company for at least 2 or more years
•Research experience in wet laboratory, especially in protein analysis research
•Required to work independently in a self-supervisory capacity and be self-motivated
•Ability to effectively communicate and interact with customers and employees
•Energetic, enthusiastic and hungry for success
•Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in areas of negotiation, persuasion, research & problem solving
•Proficiency in English
•Strong working knowledge of MS Office, basic graphics software and database management software required
•Ability to work together in a constructive way with colleagues in anticipating and resolving issues
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
•Ph.D. /M.S. in Biology, Biochemistry or related field is required
•Proteomics, cell signaling and/or cancer biology background a plus
REGIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER (LOCATION: SHANGHAI OR WUHAN) |

POSITION DESCRIPTION
•Achieve assigned sales targets while remaining within an established expense budget
•Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent communication and by maintaining a high level of technical and application competence of ProteinSimple products
•Monitor competitors activities, products and potential new or improved applications or product extensions
•Work with Country Manager, China in developing sales programs and strategies
•Provide monthly revenue and product forecasting, quarterly plans of action, status and expense reports, as required
•Attend trade shows, seminars and workshops as necessary as well as maintaining customer contacts to develop and improve sales skills
•Perform other related duties with special filed projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
•3-5 Years of high value Capital Equipment sales experience required in the research tools market targeting academic, biotech and pharmaceutical customers
•Experience in selling proteomics tools preferred
•Be highly motivated with demonstrative interpersonal, presentation & organizational skills
•Energetic, enthusiastic and hungry for success
•Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in areas of negotiation, persuasion, research & problem solving
•Proficiency in English
•Strong working knowledge of MS Office, basic graphics software and database management software required
•The ability to work with a high degree of independence, self-starter
•Ability to work together in a constructive way with colleagues in anticipating and resolving issues
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor's degree in a BioScience field required
